MGM COMPRO had the honor to exhibit at Great Britain’s biggest conference for advanced manufacturers: Advanced Engineering.
Advanced Engineering takes place in Birmingham every autumn, this year’s date was October 30 – 31. The venue offers a wide portfolio of manufacturing fields, including composites engineering, connected manufacturing or (of course) aero engineering. It is considered being the busiest technology conference in the United Kingdom, with over 550 exhibitors, spanning industries from composites to automotive – there is something here for everyone.
It was an extremely busy two days, with a 5% rise in visitor attendance reflecting the resilience and momentum behind the UK’s advanced manufacturing sectors, even in the most challenging of climates.
We can say with certainty that the title and the content of this venue correspond perfectly. Advanced Engineering shows a real peak of industrial engineering from around the world, and we are very proud that we were a part of it. As a part of Czech exposition, we had the opportunity to show the best of our business – not only to experts but also to many visitors of the event. It is very important to say that we could be a part of this goliath event only thanks to CzechTrade, major Czech trade support agency.
We are very happy with results of this venue and we’re looking forward to attend for many more years.
In recent months, our engineers have been working intensively on the development of the first Czech electric utility vehicle – named elZebra – which is being developed by the Zebra Group based in Pardubice, Czech Republic. The electric car, which prides itself for adhering to the highest ecological standards, is just entering the market at a price comparable to its diesel version.
We are excited to announce that one of our significant partners – Dufour Aerospace – bring great news for electric aviation field. The reason is completion of going trough first testing phases of their tilt-wing e-VTOL called aEro 2.
