An unique project which focuses on helping others in the remote parts of Africa where people need more and more of medical equipment and human resources. New electric rechargeable aircraft from NUNCATS can solve this problem.
On the road to a more sustainable society, we must also consider the possibility of adapting the means of transport already built and continuing to use better and greener versions of them. NUNCATS, under the leadership of founder and CEO Tim Bridge, has transformed a previously used aircraft and given it a new electrified life thanks to his vision. At MGM COMPRO, we are happy to be part of a real story with the potential to help humanity in remote areas for whom we can bring a chance at a better life.
NUNCATS, and the “Skyjeep” project aims to provide cheap and sustainable transport to deliver doctors, teachers and medical supplies to remote communities across Africa, where roads are unreliable, but there is plenty of sunshine for recharging future aircrafts by their solar arrays. NUNCATS hopes that „Skyjeep“ will do for air transport what its namesake the original “Jeep” did for wartime road transport.
Tim and his team are very smart and not only is the electrified aircraft a great plan but the whole idea of solar charging technology takes it to the next level. NUNCATS has also come up with the first-ever solar aircraft charging hangar in Europe, located at Old Buckingham Airport, and there are plans to expand these hangars to locations where they will be needed.
We happily supplied our battery system which is always adjusted to the customer’s needs. Based on the customer’s requirements MGM COMPRO team can provide the optimal solution with the balance between energy density and the „C-rate“ bringing the best possible ratio of size and weight to delivered performance.
The most important Engineering Fair in the Czech Republic took place as usual at Brno Exhibition Centre. We presented here our new project for aviation for the first time as a part of the Czech National Exhibition.
This June was the most important for the entire aviation industry. It is the month in which the largest air show in the world is held, the Paris Air Show 2023. MGM COMPRO also participated and here is our summary.
The year 2023 is marked by trade fairs, and IDET, the International Defence and Security Technology Fair, is no exception. The 17th edition took place in May at the Brno Exhibition Centre and we were there.
